Shinkansen para Kyoto e homenagem aos deuses.
Um dos meus guias diz que para uma pessoa entender verdadeiramente o Japão tem que passar um tempo em Kyoto, a antiga capital imperial e berço do Budismo japonês. Ontem de manhã parti de Tóquio para cá de Shinkansen, o famosos trem bala. A viagem foi tranquila e me arrependi de não ter comprado um Bento que é tipo uma marmita vendida nas estações de trem e as pessoas comem durante a viagem.
Logo que você chega em Kyoto percebe as diferenças. Com muito mais turistas recebi logo de cara 4 mapas da cidade. Na estação de trem, um casal de senhores com um crachá de voluntários prontos para enteder os perdidos como eu, por exemplo.
Templos e santuários são constantes e parece que a cidade vive a religião. Malas no hotel sai para prestar também as minhas homenagens, primeiro para Osamo Tezuka, o deus do mangá, afinal, foi ele que me incentivou a vir para o Japão.
Parti para o Museu do Mangá que fica aqui na cidade. Lugar impressionante com milhares de livros, todos disponíveis para você ler. Os japoneses são aficionados por histórias em quadrinhos e pude entender porque. Em 1918, o governo começou a publicar uma série de mangás como livros educativos ensinando a moral, os costumes e literatura. Engraçado você pensar que pessoas como o Sr. Miyagi leram quadrinhos no colégio.
Sai dali e voltei a andar pela cidade, pausa para um café e na volta para o hotel uma surpresa. Centenas de homens, todos de branco e bem… uma espécie de cueca andando pela rua carregando um santuário enorme passeiando pela cidade. A peregrinação vai passando pelos diversos santuários onde os participantes rezam para preservar a boa vontade dos deuses.
O dia terminou com um Ramen, ensopado de macarrão e carne de porco, em um pequeno restaurante perto do hotel, com direito a X-Man em japonês que estava passando na televisão.
Ha hahaaha, Sr. Myagi, lendo mangá … ainda bem que ele não era pervertido para ler Hentai…
