Nara com o Alex e Pachinko!
Ontem tinha me programado para dormir em Nara, a primeira capital do Japão, mas como a cidade é bem perto de Kyoto resolvi continuar aqui e fazer um bate e volta só para conhecer a cidade. A viagem de trem demora em torno de 40 minutos e na ida conheci o Alex, um coreano criado no Canadá que também estava indo para lá.
Começamos a conversar e ele me contou que estava fazendo uma viagem de três meses pela Ásia, passando pela Coréia, Japão, Camboja, Laos e Vietnã. Saindo da estação, sem saber direito onde ir, ele dá a dica de um lugar ao lado que aluga bicicletas e acabamos passando o dia junto pedalando por Nara.
A cidade é incrível com um enorme parque cheio de veados (tudo bem, pode me sacanear que eu não achei as geishas mas sim os veados no Japão) incrivelmente dóceis que chegam a comer na sua mão. Depois vimos que eles estão por toda cidade e em volta dos templos.
No almoço, Alex me conta que uma das coisas que ele mais gostou de fazer no Japão foi jogar Pachinko. Já tinha entrado em uma destas casas mas fiquei assustado com o barulho e as luzes piscando. Como um pinball, no jogo você lança pequenas bolas de metal que vão batendo entre elas e em pinos montados aleatoriamente no “tabuleiro”. O seu objetivo é colocar as bolinhas em um pequeno buraco no centro da tela, mas a única coisa que você controla é a força que lança as bolas. Quanto mais bolinhas você conseguir acertar no centro mais bolinhas você ganha. Ele é no final das contas um jogo de sorte e azar e você pode trocar as suas bolas ganhas por dinheiro, falei pro Alex que tentaria mais tarde.
Mais templos, mais parques e muita pedalada, o final da tarde foi agradável e o sol até chegou a aparecer o que me rendeu uma ótima foto do templo. Por volta das 5 já exaustos de pedalar, voltamos para a estação de volta pra Kyoto e nos despedimos com o convite de conhecer o Brasil, as praias as mulheres e as famosas churrascarias (estou doido por um bife que não vejo a 10 dias).
A noite de pois do jantar resolvi checar o tal do Pachinko que o Alex gostou tanto e comecei a lançar as minhas bolinhas. Estava com sorte e tinha a impressão que estava indo bem. Enchi a primeira bacia de bolinhas, um tempo depois a segunda… a terceira, estava realmente indo bem quando um funcionário da loja me fala que tinha só mais 5 minutos que eles estavam fechando… a quarta bacia e meu tempo acabou. Fui trocar as minhas bolinhas e para a minha surpresa tinha ganho 20.000 yens!!! Inacreditável, isso dá +- 200 dólares!!!
